Readers in Delaware who may have looked at the social gatherings in Bombay Hook on our upcoming events list last week may have noticed that the hour was set for 5:30am. I had forgotten to account for the time of year. In winter, it is still pitch black in Delaware at 5:30am and Bombay Hook is not open at that hour. All the wintertime outings have since been adjusted to 7:00am, which is a more realistic hour for photographing early morning animal activity.
We are actively working on several exciting fronts. Most of it is work that is geared toward eventually putting up a flood of rich new content. We are simultaneously working on video-based training, written lessons, graphical lessons, ebooks, promotional materials, video tips for the newsletter, community-based initiatives, real-time online webinars, live workshops and more.
We are working on so many things one might wonder how we find time for secondary pursuits such as sleeping and eating. Although we believe in and strive for a sense of balance in life, sometimes such things get pushed down the priority list or snuck in at odd moments. Okay, really the truth is that we won't be able to complete it all at once. We work on all of it a little at a time and have prioritized timetables for when we hope to have certain things completed.
In between it all, we continue to tinker with (and hopefully improve) our web site. We want to build a site that users look forward to visiting and feel good about spending time on and recommending to others.
