Professional Photo Critique

Have up to 100 of your own photos professionally critiqued. They don’t need to all be of the same subject, taken at the same time or with the same camera, etc. Basically, any photos of your choosing.

Obviously, digital photos are easier to work with and provide embedded reference data that is helpful to a professional review however we are happy to also review film-based images or any combination of digital and film.

There are two ways you can get your photos to us:

  1. bring them to one of our live workshops
  2. post them online where we can access full resolution versions for proper analysis

Each photo will be professionally evaluated then we will write a word processing document with specific feedback on every image. Feedback will include what is good, what is bad, and why. We may also include suggestions for how it might have been done differently.

Where necessary or instructive, a small number of your images may be taken into image processing software such as Adobe Photoshop and adjustments made to the image. You would then receive back the edited versions along with your originals so you can see the differences side-by-side. Photoshopped images would include step-by-step instructions for what was done along with detailed settings. Under no circumstances would we retain any copyright or claim to any portion of your images, edited or otherwise.

The whole process may take up to a week. We look forward to working with you!
